A little hint, before you chat with anyone, do a quick save because often the conversation itself is a puzzle and the answers you give will determine weather you get the reward at the end of the conversation. Some seem you cannot trust but you actually can, and vice versa, those who you think you can trust, might be out to betray you. The books may be long, but worth the read. Clues (or sometimes the answer is down right given to you in some cases) can be found in books, graffiti, and other text based around town as well as those you speak to. To obtain objects that will aid you later in the game, you must complete puzzles. It is kind of fun to rack up your bank account though to $1,000,000. You can use it to pay for a few things, mainly gambling and a hotel stay but for the most part, is useless. Money in this game has very little value. Save the game often as it has no forbearance towards the end. The first choice that comes to mind may not be the best. When playing the game, make your choices wisely. Diamondback is a lawless town with a mayor (who is the only law enforcer, take that with a grain of salt) is corrupt. Sets in a old west town in fictional town of Diamondback, New Mexico in 1882 (approx). Enough of the bad, lets talk about the good. ![]() The creators did cut corners to fit the whole game onto one 700mb CD-ROM disc, most notably the frame rate when the characters are talking. Very interactive, one of the last single CD-ROM games.
